Most of us have an ever present fear of death, always lurking just below the surface, moderating our every move, if only subconsciously. But maybe we’re looking at it all wrong! We’re all going to die someday, so maybe we should just embrace the whole concept. Look on the bright side of death! That’s what our latest video for our song, Let’s Pretend We’re Dead, strives to do. Pat Bradley’s stunning animation is the perfect visual accompaniment to a very dark, morbid, cheerful, upbeat song.
This is the song that got us kicked off of Tic Toc, somehow totally misunderstanding the entire nature of the idea. This is not promoting suicide in any way. This is valuing life by celebrating death, and really, it’s all pretend. It is a journey for the imagination alone. At least until your bell starts tolling.
Our holiday special this year is probably one of our best works to date. We originally released the song, Ho Ho Ho, back in 2015, but we’re taking it to another level this year, folk.
